Si è giocato nel weekend il I° turno preliminare della Coppa di Scozia, a sorpresa avanza lo Shortless AFC, team di Amateur League, che passa 2-0 sul campo del Tynecastle; passano il turno anche l'Auchinleck Talbot (3-1 al Banks o'Dee) ed il Beith Jrs (3-0 sul campo del Threave Rovers), mentre il Bonnyrigg Rose Athletic passa 5-0 sul campo dell'Hawick Royal Albert. Avanzano al turno successivo anche Burntisland Shipyard, Coldstream e Preston Athletic.
