Si è giocato il I° turno della Petrofac Training Cup (ovvero la Challenge Cup) con il Morton che supera i dilettanti della Spartans ed avanza così al secondo turno; goleada del Falkirk sul campo dell'East Stirling, avanzano gli Hearts che superano 3-1 l'Annan ed i Rangers che superano l'Hibernian ai tempi supplemetari.
