Si è giocato nel weekend il primo turno di Ramsdens Cup che dà inizio alla stagione ufficiale; il Morton supera agevolmente l'Albion Rovers a Cappielow, mentre tra gli altri risultati va segnalato il roboante 7-5 in trasferta dell'Arbroath ed i colpi esterni di Queen of South e Airdrie Utd.
