Alcune sorprese in questo III° turno di Coppa di Scozia, la più interessante è l'eliminazione del St.Johnstone che ai supplementari cede in casa al Cove Rangers; crolla in casa il Dumbarton con l' Auchinleck Talbot che passa con un rotondo 4-0, mentre l' Edinburgh City cade per 2-1 sul campo del Camelon Jrs.
Il Morton soffre ma passa ai rigori contro il Peterhead; rinviata per impraticabilità del campo la sfida tra Tranent Jrs ed Inverness Caledonian Thistle.
